Cyber Puffin LLC was formed in 2021 with the goal of pursuing Gaming and Service development.
Ads, in-app purchases, and DLC
Annoying and intrusive ads, predatory in-app purchases, and releasing half-finished games under the guise of DLC.
These are just some of the reasons Cyber Puffin was formed. The first game, Accessible Sudoku, was primarily developed as a learning experience, but you may notice a lack of ads or in-app purchases.
Monetization
So how do we make money? Selling apps and physical media (like Books).
Ok, but what's up with the name "Cyber Puffin"? Is it some sort of drug thing?
Nearly anyone, if not everyone, that has worked in IT and had to name a dozen servers will undoubtedly sympathize with the idea that naming things is hard.
While stationed in the Air Force up in Alaska I was able to visit the aquarium out of Seward where I became fascinated with these arctic birds that could fly (compared to penguins who can't). I spent a large portion of my time fixated on these little fishers that seemed to fly under the water in search of dinner.
Cyber Puffin is what I imagine it would be like if the Borg assimilated a puffin.
